Cheadle & District Amateur Swimming Club and Little Otters Swim School Cheadle, Staffordshire

Club Information

On behalf of Chief Coach, Andrew Stone and the teaching and coaching staff; welcome to the competitive side of Cheadle & District A.S.C. Whether you have 'come through the ranks' of our Little Otters Swim School, or joined us from elsewhere, you are probably new to competitive swimming.

We have a progressive structure of groups where you will be placed according to your ability. Your coach will advise you on the number sessions you need to attend in order for you to progress. The criteria and training times for each group is set out in this booklet. All our teaching/coaching staff are experienced and qualified. Our swimmers compete at local, county, district and national levels.

The main aim of the Club is to produce competitive swimmers of a high standard to represent the Club. If asked to swim for the Club, every member is expected to do so, although we realise that occasionally prior family or school engagements may prevent this.

To achieve these aims, we ask for commitment from both swimmers and parents. We would ask that both swimmers and family members conduct themselves in a responsible manner and remember that poor behaviour reflects very badly on the Club. The Club has published Standards of Discipline, a Club Policy and Club Constitution for your information.
